Tara, CPDT-KA

Tara grew up riding horses and always had an assortment of animals at home. Her love of animals led her into a career in animal behavior. After earning a degree in Animal Science, she began as a zoo keeper, marine mammal trainer and continues as a zoo consultant.

She works with dogs using the same reward based training techniques that she learned while training marine mammals. She enjoys working with pet owners and helping them to achieve their goals and improve their relationship. She attends seminars by the leading positive reinforcement trainers, earning CEU’s for her CPDT-KA certification. Tara competes in Rally, Obedience and Scent work with her labs. She is an AKC evaluator for CGC, Tricks and Puppy Star Programs.

Deanna

Deanna has mentored under Ginger working with fearful, reactive, and aggressive dogs for the past five years. She enjoys helping owners and dogs build confidence and have fun while doing so.

She has a Rough Collie and a Working Line Belgian Tervuren and she enjoys training for many sports such as Scent Work, Rally, Mondio, and others.

Paige

Paige has worked at Fortunate Fido since she was a young girl. She grew up around dog training and has helped her mom’s business grow by helping with aggression and fear cases throughout the years. Paige’s goal is to help people understand how to help their dog through husbandry work, exercise/Parkour, and canine fitness. She believes these are the foundations in having a long lasting training relationship with your dog and are skills needed for everyday life.

Paige has been around animals her whole life. She was in 4-H, competed in Rally trials with her dog Sunny  (Aussie/Terrier mix), Gunner (lab/boxer/pit mix), and Bronco (Cardigan Welsh Corgi). Paige has been participating in Rally trials since she was eight years old, in Canine Work and Games, American Kennel Club and World Cynosport/ APDT venues (for which they have won many titles).

It’s kind of hard to write this because what Ginger has done for me & my dog is so big it’s truly hard to fit into words and just overwhelming to think about. I guess it’s pretty much like the proverbial “pebble in the pond” or “ripple effect.” One in home visit with her led to so many positive changes.
Chris

I love what they do here. Amazing work with animals that is science based and effective. I would recommend them to anyone!
